About One Touch Foundation

One Touch Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization inspired by compassion and guided by faith. Our mission is to share the warmth of God’s love—one touch at a time—by uplifting and supporting those in need throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) Metro Area.

Our Mission

Our mission is to share the love of Christ through various acts of service and support for those who are less fortunate. We believe that one’s life can be changed with just one touch of God’s favor and blessings. We seek opportunities to be that blessing.

Our Vision

Our vision is to touch as many lives as we can. We desire to make a difference in our communities through our giving.

Our Story

How We Got Started

One Touch Foundation, Inc. was born from the heartfelt vision of one woman and her two prayer sisters, united by a shared compassion to serve others. What began as a simple act of kindness—assembling care packages filled with toiletries, blankets, gift cards for food, and snacks—quickly grew into a mission of hope. During the cold winter months, they traveled throughout Washington, DC, personally delivering these packages to individuals experiencing homelessness. Over time, the foundation expanded its reach and impact, now offering scholarships to high school seniors, honoring dedicated educators, adopting families during the holiday season, and engaging in a variety of other meaningful outreach initiatives that continue to uplift and support the community.

Meet Our Team

Renee Greene

Inaugural Vice President (2019-2023)

Current Position: President

Renee is a proud Floridian. Even though she has lived in Washington, DC, since childhood, she dislikes the cold weather. She developed a love for caring for others at a young age. She obtained her License Practical Nurse (LPN) while attending high school and advanced her career by obtaining her Registered Nurse and Bachelor of Nursing degree. She has been in healthcare for over 26 years, with experience in geriatric, ambulatory care, acute and post-acute care for adults. Due to Renee’s desire to care for and serve others, she was thrilled to be a part of the development of the One Touch Foundation Inc. With just one touch, you can change someone’s life forever. Renee loves spending time with her family, traveling, and watching various sports.

Why do I love being part of OTF? It allows me to reach all types of people and positively impact their lives through our various outreaches.

Linette Robinson

Inaugural Secretary (2019-2023)

Current Position: Vice President

Linette was born and raised in Louisville, KY, along with her parents and 12 siblings. She learned the meaning of community at a young age by having to share everything with her brothers and sisters literally. She knew early in life that she loved people and helping others, so she began a nursing career in 1997. After completing her Associate’s Degree from Jefferson Community College, she worked in many areas of nursing. In 2019, Linette accomplished a long-term goal by graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Merging her love of God, family, and community and helping those less fortunate led her to One Touch Foundation, Inc. Being able to extend God’s love to our brothers and sisters who find themselves homeless is a definite blessing. The practice of providing care packages to them in their time of need is what God has ordained us to do.

Why do I love being part of OTF? It’s been my absolute honor to serve on the Board of Directors of such a fantastic foundation. I thank God for this opportunity and will always serve with pride. I pray everyone we encounter feels God’s love through our expressions of love.

Krystal Smith

Founder & Inaugural President (2019-2023)

Current Position: Secretary

Krystal migrated to the DMV from Oakland, California, to attend Howard University in 2001.

Her desire to help others led her to choose nursing as a profession, and she is now a Registered Nurse with over 19 years of experience in acute and post-acute care for adults. Krystal has a passion for community service and outreach, especially concerning our most vulnerable brothers and sisters, prompting the creation of One Touch Foundation Inc. Krystal enjoys singing in her choir, traveling, anything under the sun (especially the beach), and spending time with her husband and her prized fur-babies, Lola and Kay!

Why do I love being part of OTF? I LOVE that we get to be someone’s answered prayer. The generosity of our donors makes the extent of our reach possible!

Terrell A. Smith

Inaugural Treasurer (2019-Present)

Terrell grew up in New York City (NYC), Jamaica, Queens, to be exact. He attended the University of Maryland (UMD) in College Park, MD, where he obtained his Criminology and Criminal Justice undergraduate degree.

Following his graduation, as he began his career, Terrell received his Master of Science in Information Technology, specializing in Information Assurance, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College (now Global Campus). Terrell is an experienced

He is a proud Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. member whose fundamental purpose is “Achievement in every field of human endeavor.”

Why do I love being part of OTF? I’m proud to serve as the Foundation’s Treasurer to ensure the foundation remains fiscally responsible with the funds received by our proud donors to support the community. I live to serve and help those who are less fortunate.
